We are so happy to announce the full lineup of films for our combined festival! All-access passes and Flex passes are on sale right now, and tickets for SpiderMable open today! Tickets for all other films go on sale October 5th. (Please keep in mind that the theatre is limited to 100 seats per screening to allow for sufficient distancing and safety precautions.)

We will be announcing the full 2020 lineup for both festivals on September 16th. Until then, we are pleased to announce our slate of Canadian films, starting with our highly-anticipated Opening Night film SpiderMable, a real-life superhero story!

It’s on! NorthwestFest and Rainbow Visions Film Festival will be joining forces to bring you a 10-day, in-person, theatrical edition double-bill this November! All screenings will take place at Metro Cinema, with reduced seating capacity and social distancing measures safely in place.

The Global Visions Festival Society 2020 Annual General Meeting will be held on Monday, September 14, 2020 at 6:15 pm.

This will be a virtual meeting and will be held online through Google Meet. Everyone is welcome!

Our digitally enhanced times have made it possible for us to offer a more compact but still impactful lineup of films for our first ever online festival!

Due to recommendations from Alberta Health and the City of Edmonton in regards to the COVID-19 outbreak, we will be postponing this year's edition of the NorthwestFest International Documentary Festival, with a reconfigured festival likely taking place this fall.

We have lots of amazing films in store for you this year and with Early-bird Passes still on sale, we wanted to give you a taste of what to expect. There's never been a better year for a STAYcation, so get your pass and stay tuned for the full lineup!
